The room I stayed in was simple but clean, perfect for a good night's sleep before continuing my journey on the Camino. The staff at the hostel were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food served at both the bar and restaurant was really delicious. I especially loved the fact that the bathrooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, making my stay even more enjoyable. the views from the hostel, nestled in the mountains, were absolutely breathtaking.
I had the misfortune of sharing my room with some very inconsiderate and noisy pilgrims, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the check-in process could be a bit slow and disorganized, as the bar and room management systems seemed to overlap.

Great location in the middle of the mountains, providing a peaceful and scenic atmosphere. The communal sleeping area had enough beds for everyone, and the bathrooms were sufficient, offering a men's, women's, and unisex option. The showers were spacious, and there was ample space to dry and change, both indoors and outdoors.
Had some difficulty sleeping due to temperature control issues in the room. It was hard to find the right balance to adjust the temperature for a comfortable sleep.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy albergue in La Laguna. the staff were super friendly and helpful, making my experience even better. the outside areas of the property were inviting and friendly, especially the big garden next door. After a long day on the Camino, the location and facilities were perfect. the rooms were clean, quiet , and comfortable. I stayed in a private room with 2 single beds and a spotless private bathroom. Breakfast was included, which was a nice touch.
I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Cons: No complaints!

The staff at this albergue were incredibly helpful, allowing us to check in early when we were soaked from the rain and even letting us stay longer when my partner fell ill. They even called us a taxi, which was a great help. the outdoor areas of the albergue were lovely and welcoming, providing a nice space to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The shared sleeping rooms could get quite stuffy, and it wasn't always clear to guests that they could open the windows for some fresh air. there was only one combined toilet and shower for each dorm room, which meant there could be a wait at busy times.

The warm welcome made us feel instantly at home, while the plentiful food options ensured we never went hungry. Located in a small, rural village, the hotel offered a peaceful and comfortable retreat. The clean and organized accommodations, along with the friendly staff, added to the positive experience.
The hotel's bar and restaurant could get a bit crowded, especially during peak times, due to many pilgrims stopping by. being located in a cattle village meant there was a faint smell of farms in the air, which might not suit everyone's preferences.

The location of the hotel was stunning, situated in the middle of the mountains, it offered a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The lentil soup served at the hotel's restaurant was absolutely delicious, a definite must-try for any visitor.- The shower in the room was surprisingly spacious, allowing for a comfortable and convenient bathing experience.- The hotel provided clean sheets, pillowcases, and blankets, ensuring a cozy and comfortable night's sleep.- The staff at the hotel were accommodating and understanding, allowing me to stay past the checkout time due to my ankle injury.
The rooms were extremely small, cramming as many beds as possible, making it uncomfortable and difficult to navigate through the space. The lack of cleanliness from some of the other guests made the stay unpleasant, especially with the added disturbance of multiple people snoring at the same time.

Our stay at Albergue La Escuela was absolutely delightful. We were on a pilgrimage and stayed here for two nights. The bar and restaurant were exceptional, especially on a rainy day. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate not only the hungry pilgrims but also the guests staying in the aubergue. They even did our laundry, which was greatly appreciated. The place had a clean and cozy atmosphere with spacious showers and a sunny drying area. The person running the check-in and dining room was incredibly hardworking and managed to be friendly and helpful at all times. The location, situated in a tiny farming village, provided a unique and peaceful experience. We enjoyed observing the cows being milked and a farmer diligently tending to his field by hand. Sitting in the sun and watching the world go by was a simple pleasure we will always cherish. The food at the restaurant was a true highlight, with generous portions, delicious flavors, and a surprising half bottle of wine included. The price for all these amazing features was unbeatable. Though the vegetarian options were limited, the staff made an effort to accommodate our dietary preferences. our stay at Albergue La Escuela was like a little piece of heaven on top of a big hill.
We highly recommend this hotel.
